Welcome to Shri Akhil Bhartiya Dhandhar Jain Sangh

Welcome to the official website of Shri Akhil Bhartiya Dhandhar Jain Sangh, a platform for connecting and serving the Dhandhar Jain community across villages and regions.

Objectives:

Strengthen unity among community members.

Share religious, social, and cultural activities.

Preserve heritage, traditions, and values.

Provide easy access to village-wise member details, events, downloads, photos, and videos.

The website promotes transparency, communication, and collective participation while connecting future generations to community values.

Dhandhar Patti [ढंढार जैन समाज (पट्टी)] originally consisted of villages in and around Jalore district of Rajasthan, including Aakoli, Dudsi, Amarsar (Sarat), Bagra, Bakra, Borta, Chura, Dhanji ka Vada, Dhansa, Jodwada, Madgaon, Modran, Noon, Reotara, Santhu, Sherana and others.

It included all three Jain communities — Dasa Oswal, Porwal and Visa Oswal.

Over time, the first two groups separated, forming their own branches of Dhandhar.

Today, Dhandhar Patti represents the Visa Oswal Jain Community from the remaining core villages: Amarsar (Sarat), Bagra, Bakra, Borta, Chura, Dhansa, Jodwada, Modran, Modran Station, Noon, Reotara (Rewatada) and Santhu. Many families have now migrated to cities across India and abroad.

What Our Members Say

Voices of Guidance, Commitment & Trust

  • Our vision is to build a strong, supportive, and progressive Dhandhar community where every member feels connected and valued. In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to lose touch with our origins, traditions, and the people who form the heart of our identity. With this initiative, we aim to bridge that gap and bring everyone closer, regardless of where they currently live.
  • This platform will serve as a continuous source of information — from cultural events and social announcements to important community milestones. More importantly, it will act as a foundation for the next generation, helping them stay connected to the heritage they belong to. Through unity, shared values, and digital connectivity, we aim to build a stronger, more inclusive future for all members of the "Dhandhar family.”
